Bad taste tinge the tongues
Watch a juggler cycle miles.
Preserve
the environment with smiles.
Hitler does no more dwell
in metamorphic, Deutschland soil
but still
if you are determined, plan to be mean
take an invitation, just to dine
with the good-hearted German who can
understand your angst
of their peace talk in pure innocence
Feel free to take our advice,
because we are foreigners
Trust the German with closed eyes!
Believe us, we are not telling lies.
As Teddy Roosevelt said, "Walk softly, but carry a big stick." Interesting poem, the russians trusted the Germans in WWII and lost 20 million people. The german people I can trust, it is just their leaders that bear considerable watching. ;-)
