In the distance clouds
gathered moisture.
The howling winds
approaching.
Sweeping across the horizon.
A bolt of lightening flashed,
Before my eyes.
Lighting up the night skies.
Thunder roared, crashed around
me,
Awakening my senses.
Suddenly it began to rain,
A downpour,
Flooding the steets.
Falling like teardrops.
Watering the earth once more.
I was caught in the eye of the
storm.
