During the roaring years
Gatsby did play
In search for Daisy
After their parting day
A draft was sent in
Many days passed by
And Daisy home waiting
Felt a loss for her guy
Down by West Egg
She now did reside
But had found someone new
In which to confide
Years went on
Then Gatsby returned
Where he found his love
And their embers had burned
But his flames still lived
A flourishing fire
In his passionate love
For Daisy his desire
Her life was brought again
To turmoil as before
When Gatsby revealed
His driving will in the war
Daisy was in constant thought
As he trudged the land
Killing for his love
To finally have her hand
An on going affair
With Gatsby she had
Her husband unknowing
But own actions as bad
Torn between two;
Tom and Gatsby.
Her husband now,
Or once lover to be?

This is an excellent synopsis of the novel, although you tend to rely too much---here and in other poems---on forcing a present tense verb into past tense by putting the word "did" ahead of it instead of the past tense suffix "--ed." This is commonly considered a poor deployment of the verse's sentence structure. Otherwise, your poem is certainly capable of igniting someone's curiosity to examine the novel itself!
