Letting Go

Old Poems

This pain needs to stop

It cannot be tolerated any longer

Her purpose cannot be for you

Blood pours from the heart so quickly

She has become lightheaded; unable to breath

Frozen in time, like the blackest night

The heart cannot go on, for she has bled all she can

Yet death is not even close

Pain is all she has

Author's Notes/Comments:

Back when I wrote this poem this one really hit home to me. Since I am a little older and, hopefully, a little wiser I have grown from this feeling but still can relate to it on many levels.

Any comments, good or bad, are welcome. Please leave a comment and let me know if you liked it, how it made you feel or what you didn't like about it. Thanks for taking the time to read my work. :)

Good job. If it's about you...hang in there, k? If not, still a great job.
