Salvaton
HIS FACE WAS STREAKED
For many many years
his face was streaked
with his own tears
nightly as his voice creaked
in humble prayer.
“Lord, please help her
find Your salvation.
May she see her sin
and turn to You, Lord.”
Then one day, ignored
no longer could Holy Ghost be
by the child's lost relation.
In Christ, she found salvation.
And the boy rejoiced
even louder than the angels in Heaven.
In prayer, he humbly voiced
His thankfulness that very night.
Oh that very night
his face was streaked
with his joyful tears.
