THOUGHTS

ONCE THERE WAS A BOX

WITH NOTHING INSIDE

IT WAS FULL OF THOUGHTS

SO EASY TO HIDE

Author's Notes/Comments:

JUST CUZ YOU CAN'T SEE SOMETHING DOESN'T MEAN IT'S NOT THERE...FOOD FOR THOUGHT...

BEST FRIENDS

DID YOU EVER HAVE A FRIEND THAT COULD READ YOUR MIND

THOSE TYPES OF FRIENDS ARE FEW AND FAR BEHIND

WE SURE HAD A LOT OF GOOD TIMES

I REALLY MISS THAT OLD FRIEND OF MINE

Author's Notes/Comments:

I WAS THINKING OF ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS FROM H.S. TERRY DROHO. SHE COULD READ MY MIND AND FOLLOW MY THOUGHTS. I USED TO JUMP AROUND QUITE A BIT AND  SHE COULD ALWAYS FOLLOW ME NO MATTER HOW SCATTERED MY THOUGHTS WERE...INCREDIBLE. MISS THOSE DAYS. MISS YOU TERRY. HOPE YOU ARE DOING WELL...

CAREFREE DAYS

WARM SPRING DAYS WITH A GENTLE BREEZE

REALLY MAKE YOU FEEL AT EASE

FEELING THE WARMTH OF THE SUN'S RAYS

REALLY MAKES YOU FEEL OK

BAREFOOT ON A SANDY SHORE

WAVES RUSH IN YOU WANT SOME MORE

SOUNDS OF BIRDS FLYING BY

FLUFFY CLOUDS IN THE SKY

SUNSETS ALWAYS BREATHTAKING

SO GREATFUL FOR TIMES LIKE THESE

WHETHER THEY ARE IN MY MIND

OR HAPPENING IN REAL TIME

Author's Notes/Comments:

I LOVE WARM SPRING OR SUMMER DAYS WITH A GENTLE BREEZE ESPECIALLY AT THE BEACH OR ANYWHERE IN NATURE REALLY.

STORMY WEATHER

THE SKY IS CRYING AGAIN

WONDER WHAT MADE IT SO SAD

THE CLOUDS ARE DARK AND GLOOMY

WHAT MADE THEM FEEL SO BAD

THE THUNDER RUMBLES AND ROARS

THE LIGHTNING STRIKES LIKE IT'S MAD

THE WIND BLOWS OUT OF CONTROL

STORMY WEATHER WILL BE HAD

Author's Notes/Comments:

WHEN YOU SEE RAIN ON A WINDOW PANE IT SOMETIMES LOOKS LIKE TEAR DROPS...THAT'S WHAT GOT ME GOING WITH THIS ONE...

FINE LINES

READ BETWEEN THE LINES

SEE WHAT YOU CAN FIND

LISTEN TO YOUR MIND

EVERYTHING IS FINE

Author's Notes/Comments:

READ BETWEEN THE LINES IS AN INTERESTING THOUGHT TO PONDER

OBSERVE

A LOT CAN BE SAID

IN VERY FEW WORDS

OR LISTEN INSTEAD

TO THINGS YOU OBSERVE

WALKED IN THE RAIN

USED YOUR BRAIN

Author's Notes/Comments:

WRITERS DIGEST APRIL POEM A DAY PROMPT FOR NATIONAL POETRY MONTH WAS TO WRITE THE LAST BLANK POEM

KEEP SEEKING THE TRUTH

IT SEEMS TO ME

THERE SEEMS TO BE

MORE QUESTIONS THAN ANSWERS

DO WE ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS

AND GET THE WRONG ANSWERS

OR DO WE ASK THE WRONG QUESTIONS

AND GET THE RIGHT ANSWERS

HOW DO WE KNOW WHICH IS WHICH

OR DO WE JUST BAIT AND SWITCH

QUESTIONS WORTH ASKING

SHOULD BE WORTH ANSWERING

KEEP QUESTIONING

KEEP ANSWERING

KEEP SEEKING THE TRUTH
