This is my first Bangla poem of ten lines. In Bangla, the meaning of poe‘ten’ry should be ‘দশপদী কবিতা’ [transliteration: ‘doshpodi kobita’]. Here, I’ve written the transliterated words within brackets by keeping the foreigners in mind. So many of my readers requested me to write Bangla poems alongside English ones. This is the reason why I’ve started my endeavour here. I hope you enjoy the poem.
