"Wish" a simple poem that includes both political and emotional elements to it. It's a poem about coming to a realization that many of our wishes may never come true, but we still hold on, have faith, and wish away anyways.
It's ironic that the one thing we fear the most is also the same thing that drives life forward; change. "When Eyes Blink" symbolizes how in a split second, or in the blink of an eye, one's life can completely rearrange.
