I wish for many things

Things I know will never come true

...I wish for peace on Earth

And for everyone to live

A blissful

And beautiful

Life

With no problems

An end to violence and hate

No more enemies

Just allies

No more famine

Just a plethora of food

No more war

No more terrorism

No more racism

And no more evil

No more cancer

No more diseases

No more depression

And no more death. . .

I wish for many things

Things I know will never come true

Like me and you

Together

As one

Author's Notes/Comments:

"Wish" a simple poem that includes both political and emotional elements to it. It's a poem about coming to a realization that many of our wishes may never come true, but we still hold on, have faith, and wish away anyways.
