SPEAK UP NOW

Author's Notes/Comments:

OUR WORLD IS SO MESSED UP. THOSE IN CHARGE ARE CORRUPT. IT'S TIME TO SPEAK UP. I KNOW IT IS HARD TO SPEAK UP WITH ALL THE CENSORING GOING ON. THAT SHOULD MAKE YOU THINK WHAT ARE THEY TRYING TO HIDE...WHAT ARE THEY AFRAID OF...SILENCING THE TRUTH...DO WHAT YOU CAN WHILE YOU CAN...THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE.

2021 November PAD Chapbook Challenge: Day 29

For the 2021 November PAD Chapbook Challenge, poets are tasked with writing a poem a day in the month of November before assembling a chapbook manuscript in the month of December. Today's prompt is to write a next poem.

For today's prompt, write a next poem. While this may literally be the next poem you write, it doesn't need to be about the process of writing a poem. It could be about the next love, next job, next meal, next adventure. Whatever you're doing now, think about what's next and write about it.

2021 November PAD Chapbook Challenge: Day 28

For the 2021 November PAD Chapbook Challenge, poets are tasked with writing a poem a day in the month of November before assembling a chapbook manuscript in the month of December. Today's prompt is to write a slow down poem.

Well, there are only three days left in this year's challenge. Wish time would slow down, but there's nothing I can do about it. Or is there?

For today's prompt, write a slow down poem. That is, write a poem about slowing things down. Or write about something that helps time slow down for you. Another option is to write about the friction between the fast life and the slow life.
