This is actually based on a dream I had, approximately eight years ago; the dream material follows the inset speech that occupies the middle section.

I got this poem from a dream I had.

I was just thinking one day about different things when it hit me, life is like one big play.  Maybe I didn't think of this first, but I hope you still like the poem.  Just one note to anyone who reads this, don't act like the man in the first stanza;  you don't want to quit the play.  Let your role play out to the end, don't cut it short.
