I hope you enjoyed my little trip down memory lane. I lived in Iowa, on a little farm. The nearest house to us was about three miles away. I was always a sickly child. Very seldom let out to play. Then the magic day, I was all better! My dad hung the swing where I could be seen from a porch. I remember watching him hang it and even what the weather was like that day. The tree it hung from was so beautiful! I would actually worry about it being blown down durring one of Iowa's wind storms.
I saw few playmates,
and yes, I guess you could say I was a lonely child. I can't tell you how many hours I sat in that swing and talked to my tree. Ya know what? Thanks for helping me remember one of the more pleasant parts of my youth. Lesa
