Angel Of Grace

Poetry
Author's Notes/Comments:

This was orignially meant to be a poem for 11th grade English.. I was supposed to write a poem about a statue or an inanimate object.. I chose an angel ornament that I already had.. I had already named her "the angel of grace".. But this story goes a little further back than that..
I had dubbed myself "Angel Of Grace", long before I even obtained the ornament. I'd been using that name as my handle all over the internet. People had been calling me 'angel', because of this kindness and unconditional love that I would sometimes show.. I'd chosen that name to reflect the way I am, deep down.. And it stuck, for quite some time.. One guy once said to me (and melted my heart in the process).. "Ah yes, a kiss from you would bring the world to its knees, for it's been known to have a soft spot for pure grace and beauty.." Anyway, when writing this poem, and looking at that angel ornament.. all these things came to mind.. and this poem was created.

Searching for God
Author's Notes/Comments:

I'm not a highly religious person, so this poem spurred on from my love of angels and my hope that I'll one day find settlement in faith.
