This is an excellent poem,: This is an excellent poem, and you deploy the metaphor of music quite well. The center of the poem is in the lines "And plucking joy from the air / A glorious spiritual liturgy / How beautiful now since we've learned to pray . . ." And the last four lines shows the effect of the process described in the poem's center. The hopefulness conveyed in this poem is like a cup of cool water in the scorching heat of the desert of our squabbles and despairs in this difficult time.
