We should have a folder where we can write down ideas or start poems and come back to finish them at a later date without posting them :)))..... The 'like' button guy :)))

You can do that...
Just create a folder... and uncheck the "Publish" button.
Post Poems in the folder... but at the bottom of the poem form, uncheck the "Publish" button.
