With respect, I disagree that: With respect, I disagree that it sounds weird when written down. I think you have stated it very well. I think you have stated it so well that you should take a screenshot and file it on your computer, because that kind of statement can bloom into poems in the future. Your description of the past and present flowing back and forth into each other reminds me of what little I know about electrical circuits---which may be an apt metaphor for that process.
I'm sure you are right, I've: I'm sure you are right, I've always thought poets have an insight into other realms, whether they realize it or not.
personally I think the past and present flow constantly back and forth and at times overlap, which is perhaps when we 'see ghosts'. Sounds weird written down though. Many thank for reading and commenting,I appreciate it. sue.
This is FANTASTIC! Very: This is FANTASTIC! Very impressive. I like the pattern that the inidividual poems create: three Haiku, then two Senryu, and then a concluding Haiku. This is an excellent reading experience.
All the thought running: All the thought running through my head running through my head, silent screams, broken dreams, tears and heart tears regrets are sobering and cumbersome when trying to find pieces of peace...
Well written inspiring!
Oh the torture of the poet,: Oh the torture of the poet, it has to be beautiful, but it doesn't, it has to be masterful, but it doesn't. it has to rhyme but it doesn't have to or it does and off with the rolling clouds goes that perfect line, while debating never to be seen again to perhaps some other poet who did not judge it and just let it ride... yesI get cha. Nice free write flows great! Nice one!
On writing : This is very good, especially from someone who hasn't written anything in a while. Writing can be tough. As the old sportswriter Red Smith used to say
'All you have to do is sit down at a typewriter, cut open a vein, and bleed'.
Keep on bleeding!
Life in a maelestrom, with no: Life in a maelestrom, with no bottom in sight. I've asked a few of these questions of myself, got put on hold,
and just went back to breathing. Works every time. This is nicely stated, and relatable, thanks for posting.
