I'm deeply touched by your: I'm deeply touched by your astronomical gratitude. It's always a joy to read and comment on the marvels of your imagination. Praying for you.
Good Guys: Wear hide colored hats, in disguise. Bad guys wear white or black tams to foment confusion. "Never a follower..." Guns do not kill people - bullets do. Everyone buy enough rounds. Innocents are for target practice. Si the headlunes say--most folks just want to go for an ice cream. .

ps "extra fleshless fingers" Good one.
A thick, fine piece: I'm happy to see that your collection here is starting to regenerate. Much to read.
Let us hope that moths eat all the togas, that we may have many, many more beautifully fluttering "butterflies of the night" and, also, more naked emperors.
"Calmly stroll /through: "Calmly stroll /through gravity" You have a knack for the never before said. Refreshing! The freedom break-out ending yes!

Words cannot express how much: Words cannot express how much this comment means to me, or how grateful I am to have received it. The poem was an experiment, inspired by casual conversation about haunted, and haunting, toys. I am so grateful that you took the time to read this poem, to comment upon it and, most importantly, to understand exactly the effect I was trying to achieve. You have helped me immensely today. If every hydrogen atom in the universe could become an individual thank you note, that would still only be about a gazillionth of the gratitude you actually deserve.
From beginning to end, this: From beginning to end, this is a completely gripping, cinematic and immersive experience made possible by your gift for wisking the reader swiftly from line to line; for seizing the heart; for entrancing the reader with unsparing and white-knuckle description; for always landing on a satisfying note whether it's a shocking twist, magnificent artistry or vital social commentary.
What cemented the success of this poem, more than its superior composition or its delectable vengeance, was how much I cared about the victim. After following him through his short, tumultuous life (where you shrewdly inserted the foreshadowing device of the teddy bear) and truly feeling his pain, you jumped to the future and the devastation of his death. Thud. That hurt!
But grief turns to scarlet rage when you zoom into the smirking face of the hater, as arrogant as he is demonic. Who couldn't feel like cheering for the tattered avenger at the end?
If the measure of good poetry is how much emotion it evokes, then you are, hands down, a winner. Bravo!
All the best to you.
The: All the best to you.
The way this is written, is quite unique to anything I've seen. Each side of the page reads complete all on it's own, with separate meaning. It all folds together and collaborates for a third, unique expression of feeling. I think it's brilliant.
Not nearly the whole world. 2: Not nearly the whole world. 2 different countries containing a billion people each have either explicitly taken Russia's side or are actively trading with Russia at this moment. Beware of propaganda, on all sides. It misleads us all, everywhere, and the rich get richer, stronger, more powerful.
Sunflowers are beautiful.: Sunflowers are beautiful. Beyond attachment to the desires of men, at that.
There are no good guys in war, and if one peels back the onion further in this case, it is found just the same. We present (only) our side of the story, Russia (only) presents theirs. Ukraine has their own. The truth is somewhere inbetween, held in the hands of small children, and all 3 entities have spent most of the last decade dreaming of how to make those hands a drone's target.
