Also known as the River of Unmindfulness, those who drank from its waters experienced complete forgetfulness/oblivion. It has an intimate meaning to me, as I have battled drug addiction for most of my adult life.
Poetry on the ancient Greek: Poetry in the ancient Greek sense was not of rhyme but cadence and elegance in eloquence... rhymes were happenstance or for impact. Best thank nursery rhymes and good times for our ignorance I enjoyed this poem! Well done !
