I'm always deeply honored: I'm always deeply honored when you stop by. Thank you so much for your stunning reflections that validated my intention perfectly.
Your opinion is always appreciated and greatly valued, gifted Poet.
The animals thank you for: The animals thank you for taking the time to chronicle your very important journey of compassion and awareness. If only one person joins you on your path of kindness, then you are a hero for speaking out.
Bravo to you!
There's absolutely no doubt: There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that the "still small voice" that awakened your spirit in '74 will lead you safely home. You can't get it wrong.
But I don't like to think about that day. Right now, in this moment of astronomical importance, you are an outstretched hand to those who are sinking and a poetic beacon in the dark. Never doubt that.
Be blessed.
Speechless. Let me pull: Speechless. Let me pull myself together here. I'm feeling this to my core and mirroring every heart-tugging, light-drenched, precious word.
I want to cry, but also to laugh and give you a big virtual hug right back for all the great art and positive energy you've lavished upon us all these years, but most of all I want to thank you for this angelically beautiful, unforgettable and sincere gift.
Huge love and gratitude, dear vibrant, irreplaceable PostPoemie!
I experienced this same: I experienced this same confusion with an acquaintance whom I believed to be a friend, but who, over the course of nearly four years since our friendship collapsed, has attempted to embarrass, rebuke, and even belittle me. I find it wryly ironic that you described a similar situation even before I had joined this wonderful site. I wish you would come back: there are not enough Poets of your quality here; some, and some very, very excellent ones, but not nearly enough.
This is a beautiful poem,: This is a beautiful poem, like all of your poems. You have been so long absent from here, but I hate to think of your poems as just so many items in the archive. When I first came to postpoems, I admired your poems very much, and that has not changed.
You weave your thoughts,: You weave your thoughts, emotions, and very soul into your words, and I follow like a child, to where you lead, to where I've never been, and it still feels like home. This tapestry you hang on the wall for all to see, and to the lucky ones, wrap ourselves in. The truth of eternity is alive in all who seek it, recognizing it as, love.
I simply had the image of two: I simply had the image of two people shouting at each other and the words that started each sentence would fall on the floor. 'Cock-up' came from reading Beavis
Well stated, and it's a: Well stated, and it's a pleasure to be among those PostPoemies. Faceless, mute to the ear, but never quiet, for our true voice is heard in our words, and it's always a pleasure to listen here, to yours. Hugss back at ya.
nice of you to stop by SS,: nice of you to stop by SS, hopefully more and more people will open their eyes, and come to the realization things have to change before we no longer have the opportunity to change, or we'll all settle in our own dust. Thanks Smoothie, always a pleasure.
Upon reflection: So I love this style of word riddle, is it the voices in the back of our head that cause us to spew forth the words of our embarrassment? Or an encounter of the modern 'isms' that make us wish we had said nothing at all? I am a curious man, as the creator, what was your thought behind it?
