Just to let you know
a little about where I live
It's horses and hills a rolling
and Bluegrass in the fields.
We are known for fast horses
beautiful women and cornbread.
Corn licker to wet your whistle
and Bluegrass music to sooth your head.
Good neighbors that will help you out,
wash your car or mow your lawn.
Or come and pick you up
when your drinking has gone too far.
Kentucky is what I'm talking about
just in case you did'nt know.
Thats the reason we all sing
My Ol Kentucky Home.......

Having married a Kentucky girl (well, almost; she was born in Ohio of parents from Kentucky), I can relate deeply to this poem. Lady Certainly, as I call her in my poems, is my Muse---and part of her charm, as Muse, is her Kentucky heritage.
