What I want you to know about me...

I became a Christian on January 9th, 1994 and was baptized on January 16th. On April 19th, 2014, I was chrismated into the Faith of the Orthodox Church, with the name Januarius.

The name I use here and sign to my poems going forward is "J-9thxciv [J 9th 94]," the usage of which evolved out of the day I became a Christian. It includes the first initial of my mundane first name, and of my chrismation name, as well as the first initial of calendar months highly significant to me: January (1977, 1994), June (1958) and July (1976, 1994).

Constantine Cavafy's poem, "Very Seldom," describes my situation, and my hope for my Ad Astra poems.

My Haigo (or Haiku name), Kyakuchuu, means "footnote" in Japanese.*

As of now, 12-12-24, some of the recent poems are signed with several a failed screen names. I am presently removing those: some time is required for this.
