BEAUTIFUL BRITISH COLUMBIA
When I think of the sun I close my eyes
When I think of the light above the skies
It brings warmth across my skin
The rays of sunshine flowing in
When I think of the moon my eyes open wide
The one bright light while the sun will hide
It opens the night with gleaming light
Plus the glowing stars, makes it just right
When I look at the ocean blue is all I can see
I inhale the air, as fresh as can be
So many creatures unknown to you and I
From a giant whale to a very small fry
When I think of the mountains so proud and tall
With peaks so high and snow that falls
As I climb these amazing hikes
I take in these amazing sites
When I think of the forests growing with green
With trees so large that they can be seen
from far away but the birds special song
is when you know you can never go wrong
When I think of the animals who share this place
With rotten humans who take up to much space
I remember they are the ones who are not corrupt
It is us who has sold our souls just to interrupt
There lives of instinct and homes beneath the trees
think about our 4 legged friends for a second please
for they share this place with you and me
and ill be dammed if you ignore my plea
As you can see this is my life and soul
With such beauty why not take a stroll
British Columbia has stolen my heart
This is my home I consider it art
