To say I don't

When I do



How it hurts

When I am forced

To lie to you.



The ultimate lie

That I must tell

Is to say I don't love you anymore



When I say it

I will cry

But you wont see me.



For you will be there

And I will be here.



You won't see a single tear

Though I will see many

For a great many of years.



I know after this

You won't be here

For any of it.



Because it's the ultimate lie

The one that hurts both sides.



But there will come a day

When I will have to tell you I don't love you,

When truthfully... I do so much...
