I’m the knight in shining armor that will sweep you off your feet,

I’m the person that has betrayed you with lies and deceit.

I’m the little bit hope that you always seem to have,

I’m the star in the sky that you can never seem to grab.

I’m the prayer at night you always say to God,

I’m the last bit of guilt that’s eating you up inside.

I’m the one you always turn to when you desperately need a friend,

I’m the one that has let you down over and over again.

I’m the person you always tell your deepest little secrets,

I’m that other person you told it to; the one who couldn’t keep it.

I’m your guardian angel in those times of need,

I’m the pre-determined destination that you are destined to meet.

I’m the ray of sunshine you awake with every day,

I’m the Angel of Death that has come to take you away.

I’m the Love that you have for the one’s you care for,

I’m the one who took it away, which made you care no more.

I’m the one who gave you life, I gave you your first breath,

I’m the one who made you fall when you took your first step.

I am the compassion and things that are good,

I am the confusion which is misunderstood.

I am everything you want and everything you dream,

I am everything you are, all you ever will be.

I am the Good that is trapped deep inside,

And I am the Evil that will forever remain alive.
