We have small faces
and smaller hands,
how dare we think we can change the world?
Pick up a teardrop
and throw it into the ocean.
Mission accomplished.
We soak in the pride
and go back to our business,
stone towers and silver spoons.
We have small faces
and smaller hands,
and we still think we can change the world.
Toss a star straight up,
the universe soaks it in
and still passes its gaze over us.
We are not strong enough to shout,
we don’t last long enough to shine.
We have flaws,
our words too fragile,
we carry forever dreams
and bigger hearts…
we still think we can change the world.
One Teardrop
In the ocean changes the saline content-balance of the universe. I believe that. Yes! ~Lady A~
Pretty much...
Won't stop believing we can change the world.
