Some days i'd swear
Our front doors always open to thin air and tiny pebbles make no noise falling from a sheer face
i'd swear sometimes i'm too high to see much besides patterns made by the fields 30,000 feet below
Sunday morning
it's just too warm in bed to consider making that jump because we're no sky-divers
And it's just like we're stuck in no gear
not spinning out mud, just sinking with a sigh
We were old men before we were boys
we went to sleep in the starting gates
They forgot to wake us up when the kissing began
i'd swear we were unlucky
Except...
maybe we aren't:
They can't break your fucking heart if you never give it away
i seriously feel you here, especially the last line, but i'll still take the chance again someday, life's not worth living without a little danger.=) thank you for writing when you are inspired,it really adds something to this world. ~green flowers
