if you see a cloud go by
that bears a strange resemblance
to consequences for the choices you made
or maybe you paid
to have them written off as bad dreams
at two a.m. fevery in the morning
and if a shadow passes over the sun
that unblinds your shutters
to the bombed-out fields of self and doubt
or maybe you forgot to think about
the nightmares from which you awake
to find you were never really asleep at all
please don't worry:
they say that to distant galaxies time's travelled so far
our lives have already bloomed
and wilted a thousand times over
they say that somewhere we've never been born
they say that we might stretch on forever or to every outer edge of the universe
and every moment's already been cast and decided
don't worry:
they say there are no such thing as accidents
Yeah, they say there are no such things as accidents, and i believe them..it makes me happy to read a poem by you again! I missed your extremely weird way with words!!this makes me feel hopeful..that is the vibe it puts off.Eccentric poem,i love it. byee
Your writing is so to the point, but it always leaves me wanting more. Well done.
