In the spirit of this present Lent, I shall delete a poem that apparently bothers a neighbor at postpoems.
I pray this will be sufficient. My current medical condition continues to deteriorate, and I believe I am experiencing my final Lent. I have posted four thousand five hundred poems here at postpoems. I am about to embark upon what may be final projects. I enter this stage joyously, without seeking sympathy. The virus that currently harasses me, as well as the lingering effects of the transverse myalitis that has placed me on total medical disablity, are metaphors of certain other presences. They know what they are. Of them, I can only pray the great Imprecatory Psalms of the Holy Scriptures.
The poem is removed. This is a Lenten gesture.

Write like these are your last days
..for that is a gift to yourself and us appreciative readers and fellow compatriots of Postpoems. But, in midst of it, I hope your forecast proves wrong, and there are many lenten seasons still ahead that beckon you here. Be well. Looking forward to what you share next.
Thank you very much.

Eternal God,in whom mercy is
Eternal God,
in whom mercy is endless
and the treasury of compassion
- inexhaustible,
look kindly upon Starward
and increase Your mercy in him,
that in difficult moments
he might not despair
nor become despondent,
but with great confidence
submit himself to Your holy will,
which is Love and Mercy itself.
Amen.

Thank you very much. As a neophyte Orthodox Christian, I do not find Sainjt Fuastina among the Orthodox saints; so I know next to nothing about her.

What a wonderful selfless
What a wonderful selfless act. In pain there is joy, in joy there is pain. Lent is a wonderful time to draw nearer to the Most High! Of reflection and joyous overcoming. May you be so blessed in an extended season of wonderous, honest poetry and incredible insights of so many works, where a comment by Starward makes for compulsory reading! God bless! Hugss ss
