What I want you to know about me...

On Sunday, January 9th, 1994, I became a Christian, and was baptized a week later. On Saturday, April 19th, 2014, I was chrismated into the Orthodox Faith.

The name I use here and sign to my poems going forward is Starwardist. The usage of the name obviously evolved from the handle, Starwatcher, which I received on Saturday, July 10th, 1976. with the assistance of my First Beloved, BlueShift. The name is also inspired by my favorite Scriptures: Revelation 22:16 (foremost); Matthew 2:2, John 3:30 and 12:32, Philippians 2:15, 2 Peter 1:19, and Sirach 43:9-10.

Constantine Cavafy's poem, "Very Seldom," describes my situation, and my hope for my Ad Astra poems.

My Haigo (or Haiku name), Kyakuchuu, means "footnote" in Japanese.*

As of now, 2-19-25 some of the recent poems are signed with several failed screen names. I am presently removing those: some time is required for this, and correcting those errors back to Starwardist. All my poems are to be attributed to Starwardist (except the Asian forms, all of which are. or are to be, signed Kyakuchuu), going forward.
