I look for you

in the pale shadows of the moonlight,

I search the stars

for your heart swirls sent upon the breeze.

I float upwards

at the mere thought of you close by

and as the soft breeze holds me in steady comfort,

hushing my racing mind

Whispering words of patience

passing love notes

adrift on the streams blowing by;

i hope that you're here somewhere,

hiding in the shadows waiting for a sign

that the love we left in pieces

Are still laid where they were hidden

waiting to be carefully gathered up

and melding them with the heat of our passion

into one lustrous and fluid bauble

spreading and melding again playfully

around once cruel and cumbersome obstacles

with our heart colours Radiating boldly

in the brilliant sunshine!

But that day,

is yet to come and all I have now

are whispers,

in the pale shadows of the moonlight.
