Broken heart,
from being flattered.
I'll not give in,
to my life shattered.
Blurred vision,
mind spinning.
I'll not give in,
to your winning.
Thought's of sadness,
throughout my mind.
I'll not give in,
that you left me blind.
Uncontrolable behavior,
from a love so strong.
I gave in to easily,
for that I was wrong.
So if you return again,
to tear me apart.
I'll not give in,
like I did from the start...
I love your style of poetry. You should consider publishing a book.
Sadly touching, this poem bleeds a lot in the beginning, yet holds a power soon to reckoned with.
Somehow I find a strong faith in survival almost emanating from some external fountain, as if the faith itself is a divine gift.
I liked the wisdom in your summation. ~Tim
