I can't believe you done this,
you took it all away.
You came into my life,
and left my world astray.
I fell deeply in love,
as you helped me see.
And never thought for a minute,
that you would betray me.
You made me feel worthless,
and took away my pride.
You took my love for granted,
and threw me aside.
Well I have succeeded,
I finally took that step.
And released the love,
that I once kept.
So go live your life,
and leave me be.
Let me rebuild my heart,
And find my destiny!
Beautiful poem and truly inspirational to others out there going through bad and painful situations they feel they'll never get out of or get over.Great write and you should be proud of the strength you found within yourself.
i know exactly what you mean...its amazing what ppl put you through..but we have to be strong and sometimes admit..they may have won the battle...but you still have the whole war to fight
This is like called in genre betrayel so not love, but it's good anyways.
Every once in a while you stumble across something that is full of wisdom. It doesn't have to be a picture perfect poem, or a critical high point, it just has to have the right stuff.
In this display of your heart, you bring me along the path to devastation and shameful ruin, yet like some Phoenix, you find a way to rise from the ashes and allow me to see the great bird soar free of the past.
I like that! It has hope in it, and that is something this damn old world can surely use a lot of. ~Tim
