Sacred Lake

Folder:
Poems

Abandon me at our Sacred Lake

and damage our emerald bed.

Why doesn't our love recipricate?

It's the only thought in my head.

Your truths were a dissalusion.

My truths were just nieve.

Round and round to the same conclusion-

My love you can't concieve.

I already know that she was sweet.

I beat you to that place.

But I'll ask if you feel her heat?

Are you comparing me to her face?

Between the houses and through the trees

I'd sacrifice to you at midnight.

And summon you up on your knees

without turning on a light.

You'd welcome me in perfect silence

and we'd venture to your sheets.

I'd tremble towards your presence

where our two souls always meet.

Still wonder where our bed went.

And the Lake is where I will stay.

Once realized that our love is spent,

my mind floats far away.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This is about back home...Struble Lake. I use to always sneek out to see him. This is also for anyone who has ever had their love cheat on them with a good friend of yours.
