My mind tells me to wait
That I have too many things to do

But I don't want to wait another minute
I don't want to waste another day
My only thoughts are always filled with
Images of you bouncing in my brain

There is nothing in this world that I would rather do
Than spend my every moment lying next to you

But my mind is telling me to stay
While my heart is calling, falling for you

And I don't want to waste another night
Wishing you were right here by my side
I feel you wrapped inside my arms
I feel the beating in your heart

But my mind tells me to wait
That I still have too much left to do

It's driving me a little crazy
Everything piled on my plate
My thoughts are always hazy
Until I see your smiling face

So I dream a little dream of you and me
