Beneath the darkened moon
Hold on ever tightly
As the cold starts seeping through
Remind me that I'm safety
Tucked inside the warmth of you
Even while I'm chasing
The daylight chasing you

Wake me from my slumber
As your stars all shine on me
Tuck me warmly under
The covers in my dreams

Wrap me in the darkness
That tells me you're still here
Caress me with the softness
As you pull my body near
Remind me that I am blessed
As you shadow all my fears
Catch me in the safety net
Of the night I hold so dear
