I know who I am
And I am what I've become
The sum of all I've done
Collectively waiting for all I will do
History teaches us to learn and grow
Despite it, though, mistakes can still be made
And when all is said and done, the lessons learned are the takeaways
I can be, and I can do, and I can show, and follow through
But I will be what I can do, and I am made of all I knew

I have faith in what I believe
Certainty of what I've yet seen
I have faith in what I can be
And certainty in what it means to be me

Life comes running, without guarantee
And strength comes swiftly, to those who believe
I take pride in knowing my limitations
And exceeding my own inner expectations
I can only be, the me that can only be me
I can believe in what makes me believe

Because, in lieu of everything

I have faith in what I believe
Certainty in what I've yet seen
I have faith in what I can be
And certainty in what it means to be me

Faith to believe
Certainty to see
Faith in being
Certainty in me
