Wounds open, ceased unbroken
Burning like a blaze of fire
Bleeding, seeping blood unspoken
Into the pit of love’s desire
Tears dripping, falling, weeping
Drowning out the heart’s cries
Mistaken dead, but it’s just sleeping
Awaiting someone to open her eyes
Half awake and scared to death
Encounter a thief in the night
Wake her up, steal her breath
Off guard, she still tries to fight
Still alone, she’s not the same
Her emotions shattered, torn apart
He fled away as fast as he came
Stealing nothing but her heart
When a heart is bruised and broken
Bleeding, drowning, and weeping
It may let a stranger right in
And be stolen while it’s sleeping -

Beautifully written.
I share your beliefs in many ways, (being a believer myself) and I love your writings. I can tell they come from the heart!
I am rather new here, a young writer, and I'm looking forward to seeing writers like yourself, to help me learn.
Thank you for sharing your gift!
