Twelve Wizards

Twelve giant wizards
surrounding a blaze
in the coldness of winter.
Not unlike the twelve months
revolving around the sun
in the coldness of space.
A young girl stopping
to gaze upon Old Man Winter
with her back to the flame.
While he decked out in his finest threads
cast his eyes down upon her,
giving her hope.
