the contours of your tender face
speak to the poet/woman in me
from which countries do
your heritage trace
is not so easy to tell
from a mere photo's glaze
minute slivers of vocabulary
paint a haunting portrait
of wonder and rage
no moratorium could be set
to withhold your courage
from its place
penned reverie
unsanitized
parlays from your agile wrist
like a cojugall visit
your creativity presumes so to persist
there is youth and much natural intellect
in your turn twist of translated language
and phrases
you speak to the world's heart
as if your words were passed down
through the ages
soul speech I label such chaotic collage
a man rising up from mere frame of a boy
thumbing his nose at the world's bravado
and mirage...................
