she sits alone in the dark
trying to escape from old memories
thats all they are she says
their in the past leave them there
dont fall asleep or they'll get you
she sits in a corner crying
she doesn't want to remember
all she wants is to forget forever
why must they come back
why must they haunt her
why dont they just stay in the past
after all these years of peace
why come back now
why not just stay in the past
she sits rocking and crying in the corner
will she ever be ok
will they find her in time
will they save her before she is gone
lost forever in the past
will they save her before the memories can kill her
