The one I love will never know,

she'll never know,

And though I know the beauties

in her soul/charms

could make me shine,

'still know that someone other

in her arms she'll come to find.

than myself she'll come to find.



And though I know the passions

in her heart

could set me free,

'still know that someone other

than myself, her "love to be."



So true, I'll play the dreamer,

here today,

and nothing more.

A clearcut non-believer, (a heart-felt plea to meet her)

meant for lack of truth instore. (much the same, the way before.)



A new path in the open,

my fresh tracks

to fall behind. (to fade to blind)
