BROKEN TOY

Looking towards a future

as gloomy as the past

nothing to rely on

thinking to end life at last

Death need not come

My soul already sold

The devil grasped hold long ago

Leaving everything so cold

Useless thoughts in a vacant mind

Have found no listening ears

A slowly depleting loveless heart

Hides deep and shows no bloodlust fears

Laying on this park bench

Watching smiles and hearing joy

Feeling like life has completed its course

As mother nature makes me the broken toy
