I give you oxygen to live

But you cut me down and take me to your cities

I give you shelter from the rain

But you hurt and kill me

I give you fruit and pretty flowers

But you only give back destruction

I give you drugs for medicine

But you give me pain back

I give you wildlife to roam this land

But you kill it or cage it

I am the rainforest

And you are slowly destroying me
