Take a walk with me
All you need to do
Is close your eyes
Sleep walk into my arms
To a place
where love will rise
And conquer all those who despise
Like steam or ice
or intangible love
I’ll never leave, but when you breathe
And sigh, my love, will envelope you,
my angel
And every tear you shed
will feed and nourish me
Every thought of me
Will sacrifice you to me
Every touch
Every look
Every backward glance
Will hold you in this spiritual trance.
Save me with your memories
Adorn me with respite
Deliver all your energies
I’ll visit you tonight
So smile and be happy if not care free
They tore our hearts from us
But they’ll never steal our dreams.
LOVELY
I ENJOYED IT
I love this! Every word seems to have its own ache yet in a sense it instantly wraps me in the feel of caress. There doesn't have to be a tomorrow or a yesterday in this now, and in that thought this poem draws me like a moth to flame.
There are times when you say things in poetry that truly reach out and grab the essence of things. This has the feel of a soft bed and softer arms, a loving that moves through the veils. It has spiritual joining that allows the carnal to become one with it making the union a perfection point in all time.
Don't ask me why I have found this one so effective, but I do.
Feeling good! Tim
OOOOO, this is awesome! I love the astral effect of it!
I am such a dreamer, that something like this would always appeal to that one hidden inside.
I have notived in your writings such particular depth of spirit. When you tangent, you are capable of going into realms far beyond the normal bump and run daily. You make me wonder if you can see auras? Hey, I am weird like that. :) Tim
Hey, I got a place here also! Tim Derr
