Self-Quarantine

We've all been ordered

to distance ourselves

from others.

But nothing has

changed for me.

After all,

I'm used to isolating myself.

It's natural for me

to be all by myself.

And even in

the presence of people

to feel alone.

So weeks at a time

without seeing anyone

is easy enough.

I Am A Lone Wolverine

But I miss crowds and public spaces with park view, kids and moms, River, bridges, lunch takers. I poetically thrive in crowded sidewalks or auditoriums. When this eases, I am dragging friends along! Great poem!
