What I want you to know about me...

I became a Christian on Sunday, January 9th, 1994, and was baptized a week later. On Saturday, April 19th, 2014, I was chrismated into the Faith of the Orthodox Church, with the chrismation name---Januarius.

The name I use here and sign to my poems going forward is Coerulescent. The usage of the name evolved from the handle, Starwatcher, which I received on Saturday, July 10th, 1976. with the assistance of my First Beloved, BlueShift. The handle/screen name is inspired by Revelation 22:16 and by the Doppler Blue shift; as well as other Scriptures---Matthew 2:2, 2 Peter 1:19, and Sirach 43:9-10. What "Coerulesent" means to me will be described in a poem I am about to add to the 9th Poems sequence.

Constantine Cavafy's poem, "Very Seldom," describes my situation, and my hope for my Ad Astra poems.

My Haigo (or Haiku name), Kyakuchuu, means "footnote" in Japanese.*

As of now, 2-1-25 some of the recent poems are signed with several failed screen names. I am presently removing those: some time is required for this, and correcting those errors back to J-9thxciv. All my poems are to be attributed to J-9thxciv, going forward.
