Thank God, I don’t have jealouty!
A disease that makes a person feel bad,
Injecting the sense of inferiority,
Killing him or her from within, something very sad.
It destroys the level of confidence,
As the sufferer keeps thinking,
About the natural gifts that another person has,
But the really wise one doesn’t bother about this thing.
Let’s embrace life with what we have and move on,
Since beauty is temporary, notable works will make us known.
Author's Notes/Comments:
I invented a word named, "Jealouty" (jealousy + beauty = jealouty; a feeling of being jealous of another person's beauty or handsomeness. I think it can be the perfect English translation of the Bangla word, 'পরশ্রীকাতরতা' [transliteration- 'porosrikatorota']. You can see the definition here: http://tinyurl.com/mv2eftr
Besides, I even wrote a scholarly article on the suitability of the word, 'jealouty' as the perfect translation of the Bangla word, 'পরশ্রীকাতরতা'. You can read the article here: http://www.ijhssi.org/papers/v3%285%29/Version-1/E0351023031.pdf

...So true. There are many different forms of jealousy. One can be jealous of looks, riches, talents....even jealous of someone else's wife or husband!! I even knew a woman who was jealous of her friend's children because they were such good children and her children happened to be unruly. Jealousy is a strange thing.
I feel jealousy on occasion, and when I do I find it disappears by counting all my many blessings... one big one, health!!

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."
"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "
Thank you
Thank you so much my dear friend. It feels really good to receive comments from you. :)
I think jealousy (of
I think jealousy (of another's looks or talents) is what I call a waste of an emotion. It doesn't improve the quality of your own life, it decays it. There are better feelings to feel.
