recently i've had you in my mind
cause my heart seems to lag behind
the times, sometimes
too often it all comes back to me

the part of you that shorted out and faded away
stayed somewhere in my heart of memory
it's chopped up finely and blended in
i feel something but can't disect it to see what it is
