if i had a notion

of what was going down

before it had happened

it would have never began



if i had a potion

to turn pain to dust

i wouldnt waste a drop

i'd hand it over to you



i'd even switch positions

please don't drink that bottle

because feelings seem too hard to swallow

you want to switch to liquids



i didn't hear the screams call out,

before the accident began

but if i did i would have been there standing in your place

as you were knocked off your feet and safe

a moment earlier then this

where i hear you crying in pain



if time froze a second

i'd do something better

i woudnt fix the clock

i'd repair broken looks



broken looks meant for your face..



if i had an ocean

or a pool to swim in

i wouldnt waste a drop

i'd hand it over to you



just to wash away the stains

you're deeper then that puddle

and though feelings seem to hard to swallow
