Oblivious to Insult

affectionately

she rubs her head

against her sibling

two felines who've learned to live

in a furless primate's world

 

her sister,

suddenly and surprisingly,

hisses and glares her off

she merely turns to me and purs

oblivious to insult

the way every creature's world should turn

And yes, especially with Bobbi (the muse, here). But cats, in general, do seem to forgive slight very quickly. Subsequently, as I look at my two snoozing cats now, I also realize that they don't lose a whole of sleep over life's ups and downs, either. Hm.
